Faith of mine is a Forget-me-Not,
A perennial wildflower.
It knows its soil, season, and sun.
Tolerance of shade is its virtue.
Happily it lives and spreads in streambeds of love.

Thank you for a precious Something that we can count on!
streambeds of love… how beautiful!
Oh, how beautiful, Sumana. “Tolerance of shade is its virtue.” I love this line the most
A lovely flower you describe!
This is absolutely breathtaking Sumana…❤️ I love the idea of faith as forget-me-not.. ❤️
Your words draw a beautiful picture for us!
Sigh. This was gorgeous to read. Fundamental faith, and the peace to be found within, even when without is all awry. Beautiful, Sumana. I so admire your deep faith.
It is the only thing in life you can count on.
Based on this poem, your faith is beautiful.
Ah, that’s the kind of faith to have!
I especially like the third and the idea of the flower knowing it’s environment.
If only we would look about us more and find comfort in the natural world. What an excellent poem this is Sumana.
A really uplifting poem for these troubled times, Sumana! Thank you for this.
A lovely flower for sure…a sweet poem.
Just beautiful!
A familiar wild flower that is nice to play with as it responses to touch
