Of the bounty

Succinct and powerful poem Sumana
Delicately done.
The word ‘laps’ is perfect. Such a great image.
A simple poem such as this tells of the importance all living things have on the survival of our Earth. We are all in this together.
Love the precise sharpness, of the image and the haiku.
And the leaf is indeed enriched because of it!
Perfect!
Reading this, I feel refreshed too!
It’s like a prayer. I love the alliteration and the balance of that leaf beholding.
Love the sense of the after rain… the bounty from heaven.
Love the photo. The leaf is a tongue and we can taste that heaven sent drop of rain. Thank you,
Elizabeth

So few words that say so much! Bravo
Gorgeous!❤️
Well just look at that droplet. It is a gem and your poem here is a jewel for me this Sunday afternoon, nice one Sumana!
So much for the imagination
delicate … exquisite … profound.
A snapshot of unassuming beauty.
Perfect:)
Short, and O so powerful!
