The black cuckoo
hidden among dense leaves-
seldom to be seen-
brings in its throat,
Diwali
in Spring dawn-
to make
a festival of lights
in the dark corners
of my core.

Yes, yes. I feel it from your words. Let the lights rise.
Oh this is soo beautiful!
You paint a lovely image with your words, The picture you chose to accompany your words is equally stunning.
Imagery of the black cuckoo is marvellous – such a happy time that bringer of light – though I wonder how it must feel to celebrate with one piece of you always missing
Oh yes, a beautiful and timely piece. The black cuckoo announcing the significant event, Festival of Lights, is most impressive.
