I look at
my snowscape heart-
where you live
in blue shadows-
pale sun
spills whatever it can
to undo you-
I can’t say
‘five for silver
six for gold’-
for it’s always
one for me.

Wonderful!
Oh dear., that is full of sorrow… beautifully written to the image Sumana,
Beautiful and haunting words. 🙂
one for sorrow.
heavy. but playful bringing in the nursery rhyme.
the undo-ing is what got me.
nice use of nature to fill in the meaning.
So beautiful, that “snowscape heart where you live in blue shadows.” Sigh. Gorgeous writing, Sumana. It pings at my own snowscape heart.
A fine marriage between the image and your words,
Elizabeth
