Micropoetry #20 (Haiku)

a wisp of smoke

from my ginger tea

stirs winter dawn

a little boy gifts

a bouquet of marigolds

to his math teacher

  1. I did not get marigolds in math class this morning
so i am a little jealous. Ha.

My kids give me much though, just in being here
    and their appreciation.

I like the simple image in the first, it speaks to serenity
    for me.

Thank You :)
