Peace keeps coming out

Bluethroat* sings peace
In its winter home
Of our land

Curled up
In its mother’s lap
A child calls the moon

Lovely threesome.
I believe these three–the singing of people and birds and baby–will bring peace. At least in their presence, I feel peace, and I feel it in the rhythms and silences of this lovely poem.
Peacefully beautiful…loved the third one so much…!!
Love the gentleness of the tone, the way the song keeps on moving–from hymns to birds to a child calling miracles…
Wonderfully serene! 💞 Love the tone and pacing of this poem. 🙂
What a beautiful scene you created in so few words. Absolutely delightful.
Beautiful, Sumana. I can see that small child, calling for the moon.
Yes to fix our hearts to nature and inoncence, surley we will not miss the mark. Luv the way peace journeys in this poem Sumana
Much💜love
Loved the middle one to the core! ..not that the other two are any less though. An amazingly beautiful set, Sumana:)
Peace keeps coming out
Of the hymns…. this is just beautiful!
Lovely images of peace.
Such serene imagery. I’d like to curl up too and call out to the moon.
Serene writing, Sumana. Paced nicely. Love that third one.
Love these 3! I feel at peace already!
