Supple, nimble, tender,
self-less but busy hands
do not much think about
E m p o w e r m e n t-
they work
ceaselessly,
in unconditional love-
mending broken nest-
raising fledglings alone-
their breath is a blessing-
they hold a sky in one hand
and a world in the other-
they stir you
to kindle and radiate
wordless love-

Those who do this naturally, do not need the label for the effect. Brilliant!
Selfless, wow a major operative
Happy Wednesday Sumana. Thank you for stoppkng by my blog today
Much💛💚😊😊love
I love that they hold a sky in one hand and a world in the other – reminds me of the saying that women hold up half the sky.
That is so true, Sumana, those selfless but busy hands keep the world going. I love the lines:
‘their breath is a blessing-
they hold a sky in one hand
and a world in the other’.
“they hold a sky in one hand
and a world in the other-
they stir you
to kindle and radiate
wordless love-”
Absolutely beautiful Mothers are the strongest creatures
“their breath is a blessing- they hold a sky in one hand and a world in the other,” my goodness this is absolutely breathtaking, Sumana!! ❤️
sky in one hand world in another… that is quite something!
Love makes it all easier life is beautiful with it and dark without it.
I think juggling the sky and the world is a mammoth task. I feel for all of them and all deserve some rest peace and a little enjoyment.
Raising fledglings alone is a gift–an empowerment. Very nice!
You said it, sister!
